The new blueprint for government digital : what does it mean for the services we all rely on?

A Talk by David Mann and Harry Scott-Trimble

About this Talk

The Department for Science Innovation and Technology has announced its blueprint for modern digital government. It was preceded by The State of digital government review which tells a story of slow progress and missed opportunities over recent years, including the failure to make the most of the public sector data. The blueprint sets out a plan for radical reform that includes ambitions to join up public services, harness the power of AI for public good, and a focus on outcomes and innovation. But how might that look in reality? What does it mean for the services that we all rely on? What might they look like, and crucially how will we deliver them?

Join us for a discussion about dxw's vision for transparency in public service design and our take on how best to make this vision a reality. Hosted by our CEO, Dave Mann and Principal Interaction Designer Harry Scott-Trimble.
