How government is adopting AI for automatic classification of data at huge scale

A Talk by Rachael Greaves (CEO, Castlepoint Systems)

About this Talk

Some of the largest public sector bodies in Australia and New Zealand have been early adopters of explainable AI to completely transform their governance and control of enterprise information. Governments globally have too much information to properly control, and to effectively use. With the introduction of generative AI, worsening cyber threat environment, and increase in privacy regulation, it's more important that ever to have a strong grip on structured and unstructured data. By using novel technology to read, register, and then regulate all the content in their systems, Commonwealth governments have been able overcome the logistical challenge of the 'three Vs' - unprecedented data volume, variety, and velocity. Sharing case studies from policing, defence, agriculture, treasury, education, climate change, and child protection, we will demonstrate how these agencies have achieved command and control of their data estate and transformed their digital risk profile.
