About this Talk
We are pleased to present one of the most significant AI initiatives currently operational within the NHS: "AI for UEC." This groundbreaking project is a large-scale collaboration between UCLPartners, NHS North East London (NEL) and NHS North Central London (NCL) Integrated Care Systems, Health Navigator (HN), and NHS England. Building upon a robust, published evidence base, this initiative is scaling a proven high-impact, low-disruption intervention to address the escalating pressures on Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) services across England. Our three-year programme leverages fair, equitable, and safe AI to analyse routinely collected data, identifying people at risk of clinical deterioration.
