Barney Quinn

Today Barney is an Ambassador for Insoft the leading Testing and SI company and Chair of Arkivum in the digital preservation market. He has many years experience with technology, software and latterly cloud based companies. For 13 years, Barney was a Director of Sherwood International plc, a provider of software and services to the insurance industry which was listed on the LSE. He was also CEO of Workplace Systems International plc an early provider of cloud-based workforce management software which was Aim listed These major software companies had enormous success in North America and internationally. The lessons learned and experiences in scaling these businesses internationally as an Executive have been used to help technology and software companies expand in his non-executive career. Other recent non-executive roles included Aim listed Rosslyn Data Technologies and in the private sector the video alerting MedTech company Oxehealth. He was also an investor and advisor to Parago Systems which resulted in a significant exit in 2021. Historically in the public company world he was in a non-executive capacity Chair of ClearStar Inc, and a Director of Raft International and SSP plc. Other non-executive roles have included being a director of Concirrus and Chair of Becrypt
