Culture eats digital transformation for breakfast: The importance of culture in making real change happen

This talk is a conversation between Alice Dyke - Director of Culture and Transformation at Teenage Cancer Trust - and Carmen Barlow - Digital Strategy and Transformation Consultant. We explore themes about what makes good culture, and why you need good culture to do transformation well. Some things we believe enable this are:

- Clear goals and impact measures, tracked, reported & understood

- Understanding your users and audiences and their changing needs

- Reflection and transparency and open communications - role modelled by leadership

- Decentralising decisions using data and insight

- Iterative working

- Using the best available tools/tech to make collaboration and work efficient and effective

- A culture where everyone feels safe and can be heard
